Yay for Baptisms!! First Transfer!

Hello family !

So I will have to be quick today, sorry, I am with my new companion today in my new area.

Thursday was great our investigator went to his baptism interview and passed so we are good to go on him baptism!!!

We also went to a members home with some new investigators we talked about the Restoration. Members also need to learn  the doctrine of the church. The father said he couldn't believe The Book of Mormon because there wasn't anyone named Alma in there. haha But we can learn many things... First he's not reading! We might all be members, but we need to continue to read and learn! If we read the scriptures we can gain a testimony, a srtong testimony that Satan can not destroy!!

Saturday was wonderful!!  We had our baptism! His name is Carlos and is 14 years old. Only 14 years old but he has such a big strong testimony! I am thankful that I can see more people coming to Christ !

Sunday was good but I had a very large and sharp pain in my head so bad that I couldn't see, but I know it was a migraine, I just need sleep. However Sacrament Meeting was very nice and all members could feel the Spirit so strong!

Monday was quiet..which was good. Because everyone had the flu that has been going around. Tuesday was very sad ! We had a meeting with the area president and I have to be transferred from San Marcos, and go to San Francisco ! It's hard because I feel like my work there isn't done, So today I'm in San Francisco and my new companion is Elder SaldaƱa from Mexico. He is very cool ! I think that I will love it here, but it's such a big area!!

Family.. this is my week and I hope everything great there in Utah and Happy Birthday My Grandma Christensen ! love you all and i hope That you will all have a wonderful week !  Also Happy Birthday last week to Alyssa!!

 Love you all!!

Hola Friends and Family!!

So this week went  very very fast ! I hope all of you have had a good week and that you are receiving many blessings ! So Thursday we received five more families we can teach and most of them are very active in another church! But we will work !! Friday was very cool because we were in a house of a member and we talked about marriage and I thought... how can I teach  about marriage?? I don't have a  wife or kids... but I've realized that when we have the spirit with us, we can always testify to our beliefs!

Saturday was very amazing! We were walking in a neighborhood and a woman wanted to talk to us, we've never met her and we did not know why she wanted to talk to us. She has heard that we have the authority of the priesthood and she had a very sick daughter. So we went into her house and I gave her daughter a blessing. The next day the daughter was playing with family and friends! We will be back to visit with that family! I testify that if we have faith and with the authority of the priesthood we can preform miracles , We will see more miracles in our lives if we are worthy!

Sunday is always great, and the first day without a headache!!   We had like 5 investigators, and 4 nonmembers at church!!  I am grateful that I have the opportunity to serve in my first area in San Marcos. I'm not ready to leave yet. The Lord's work is progressing and encouraged by the members that help us teach by example. Monday we had a problem with an investigator. He said his family won't let him listen to us anymore...but he knows we are the true church! We are going to see if we can change their minds with the help of the spirit. Tuesday I was in a meeting with Elder Civic from the 70 and it was very cool. We have to work harder to reach the goals that we have ! !

Family I have felt your prayers!  Thanks So Much!!   I hope everything is good there in Utah or where ever you may be. I always pray for you! ! !

Love you all soooo much !
MISS YOU GUYS

Hello family !

How is everybody! I am sorry, but we had so much to do this morning so I don't have a lot of time. This week has gone by so fast!  I'm so happy that the work here is progressing and we have received more people can teach ! On March 22 we will have a baptism and I can not wait for that day ! Thursday was great! That was the day that Carlos accepted  the date to be baptized March 22 and is very cool !

Oh and I was talking to a brother, he is from Texas and has a son and he served in Honduras and is 23 both he and Ryan served in the same mission ! His name is Elder Tidmarsh ! I'm not sure if Ryan will know him... Good Friday we taught  the family on The Plan of Salvation and about the 3 degrees of glory. This message is very important to me! We have to make this our goal in this life!  Our goal needs to be to live with Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father! But if we are not doing good works in this life we can not enter the Celestial Kingdom.  It is so sad if we don't make it. Saturday went by fast too, but I was very sad that 2 of our families do not want to talk to us any more or share our testimonies because they are  Jehovah 's Witnesses! Sunday as always was the best! We had 5 investigators and 6 less active members at church! Tuesday goes well we were able to teach our families! And the lessons went really well, but....I havn't been able to sleep for 3 days. and I've got the worst headache! I have taken medicine but nothing seems to be working. But no worries!

Well family, that is my week. I love you guys soooooo much and I hope that everything is good there and That you are all safe. I miss you!  I will talk to you next time !

Love you Elder Westenskow

family ! ! ! ! !
This week has-been really cool! Our investigators are progressing a lot and I hope it keeps improving like it has been. Thursday was pretty good because we had a family home evening with William and his family and we also received like 3 more members to teach!  We taught about temples and eternal marriage and they are very interested in the temple and be sealed! William is a less active member and his wife is a non-member, they also have a child. They want to be baptized but we have to wait if they can be married but that is happening soon!

Friday we were talking to a less active member on the importance of the sacrament, and He wanted to share his testimony with us, He said that he knew the church is true and testified that the Sacrament is for all! And he know that if he can repent can go back to church he could  live with his family for Eternity. He is married and has 3 children! He was crying during his testimony. My Family it is so important to partake of the sacrament each week because we can renew our covenants with God and are worthy! We can feel cleaner and a better lif ! I testify that when we are doing good things and do good works can receive many blessings and in the end.  We can live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and all our families forever but we have to keep the commandments!!

Saturday went by so fast because we taught as 8 people and 5 were new investigators! Sunday went byvery fast. I also had to teach the Gospel Principles Class. I was very nervous !

Monday! Monday night we had another Family Night at Mary and Miguel house,  about patience, the lesson was so spiritual and cool! They also committed to be be married and be baptized! That's my week. I love you guys sooo much and hope that you guys have fun in Disneyland without me hahahahaha.  Don't worry though I am doing the best thing in the world!!!!!!!!
